Women Photographers Part 2
April 25, 2008
This is part 2 of my earlier post on women in the history of photography. And June 1 we launch, Women in Photography, where you can see the work of more great women artists. Thanks to Dina Kantor, Timothy Briner, Joerg Colberg and others for their suggestions. And Mrs. Deane for a few late additions to the list!

Please add a convenient link to your earlier post, I’m sure it would be appreciated by some.
Your selection of photo’s is interesting, only rarely do I sense a female perspective but maybe that’s the point.

Esther Parada was one of my professors during graduate school in Chicago. It was cool to be reminded of her and her work.
See you soon.

I haven’t thought about Bea Nettles or Claude Cahun in some time. Cheers!
Can we add names?
Lee Miller?

I have amended the Joan Fontcuberta mistake, thanks for the heads up. I read a write up that said ‘her work’ and did not research more. Also, Lee Miller is in Part One.

Your link to Women Part One is bad, but fairly easy to figure out what the correct one should be.
