Whereas I don't think people tired of Wall or Demand, rather - for quite a while - many just didn't "get" it. And now Wall's work is currently as strong as it's ever been and has stood the test of time and some ways, the rest of photography has caught up with him. I think big colour prints will be seen in retrospect as much more of a fad or fashion with only some of those standouts passing the test of time. I think we'll wonder what all the fuss was about. Some work will look good as big flat colour prints some, we will realise, doesn't.
